At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world's leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Subject Matter Expert.
The Role:
Our Subject Matter Expert are responsible for providing technical guidance and support to other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.
Area of Responsibility:
• Deep-domain experience in aerospace industry methods & tools either in delivering or supporting the delivery of complex solutions (software application, product, etc.) (must have)
• Functional and/or technical experience and understanding of the working of multiple aircraft systems (hydraulic, airframe, cabin, etc.) (must have)
• Experience driven ability to understand the customer pain point and guide the requirements gathering team in decomposing pain-points to product/feature requirements (must have)
• Understand export control related restrictions around data consumption and sharing, and guide the product/feature development team in complying towards the same (good to have)
• Ability to share and build strong aerospace domain expertise within the TATA team to build in-house domain experts (must have)
Knowledge / Experience:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, or a related field is preferred. Some employers may also require a PhD in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience working in aerospace engineering with a focus on a specific area of expertise. Experience in research and development, testing, or quality assurance may also be beneficial.
• Deep technical knowledge and expertise in a specific area of aerospace engineering, such as aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, or avionics. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is also important.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying technical issues and providing effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively conveying technical information to other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders. This includes both verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills are important for providing technical guidance and support to other engineers and project teams.
• A deep understanding of customer needs and preferences is critical for developing aerospace products and systems that meet their requirements.
• Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• A high level of attention to detail is required for ensuring that software solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable, and that they meet industry standards for safety and performance.
Key skills:
• Software application.
• In-depth understanding of hydraulic systems used in aircraft, including system design, components, fluid mechanics, and control systems.
• Expertise in airframe engineering, encompassing knowledge of structural design, materials selection, stress analysis, and aerodynamics.
• Familiarity with cabin design principles, including layout optimization, ergonomics, safety regulations, and certification requirements
