YOUR TEAM:

You will operate within the domain "Vehicle Motion and Energy".

At CARIAD, we are the backbone of driving functions and constitute the interface to the automotive mechatronics within the Volkswagen Group.

We develop in (agile) teams powertrain, chassis and energy related functionalities, such as motion and drivetrain management, power electronics
, steering, damper control or the charging of electric vehicles and many more.

Thereby, we enable future innovations and new business models.


Become part of this exciting environment in the vehicle motion & energy domain, as "Head of Competence Center Functional Development & Verification" (M/F/d), make a significant contribution to the development of future software solutions and customer features in the Volkswagen Group.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Disciplinary leadership and ensuring employee development
  • Responsible for the qualitative assessment, selection and qualification of strategic external partners in the fields of competence of the competence center
  • Management of coordination with the group brands and development locations on roadmaps and job splits
  • Escalation in the event of target deviations of crossdivisional issues
  • Ensuring the permanent further development and optimization of the independently responsible processes and methods
  • Organizes the internal and external knowledge exchanges

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Successful completed studies in the technical field and several years of professional experience in the automotive environment
  • Experience in working as part of agile teams on a solution based level; Scrum, SAFe, CI/CD or PI Planning are not just buzzwords for you
  • Always keen to challenge the status quo in order to develop and deliver an efficient and quality software
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to compromise
  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives through experience
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build productive relationships and work well with people at all levels of an organization
  • High level of communication skills in German and English
