Your Role :At our location in Gaertringen we are looking for a new team member in our High-Tech Solution Center. As Commercial/Rates Expert (M/F/d) you are the central point of contact between the operational KN departments and our customers.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Commercial escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders for any relevant topics within the Commercial department
  • Support with multimodal rate schemes (Ocean/Rail/Road/Air/Sea-Air) in the context of our Rate Card Management activities
  • Leading freight tenders, including analysis, preparation and processing
  • Creation of presentations for our customers and business partners
  • Internal as well as external rate negotiations
  • Collaboration with customers and different Kuehne+Nagel country organizations in an international environment
  • Collaboration and support on projects

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Degree in freight forwarding and in logistics services or comparable degree
  • Understanding of logistics processes
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
  • High level of user skills for MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Economical mindset and acting
  • Analytical mindset, structured way of working as well as affinity for numbers
  • Personal resilience, team
- and customer-oriented mindset and acting, good and effective self-management

  • Willingness to travel
