WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Analyzing the requirements for the part to be processed
  • Planning the creation from design to final delivery, including reviews with the technical departments, taking into account civil and military logistic requirements and ÖAG requirements
  • Preparation of external technical customer documentation for all RME business units such as:
  • Operating and maintenance manuals, as well as online help and complete system or training documentation
  • Creation of maintenance and care plans as well as setup instructions
  • Updating and maintenance of existing technical documentation
  • Creation of spare parts lists/ and catalogs
  • Preparation of technical content in a comprehensible, target grouporiented, clear and logical form
  • Review of German and Englishlanguage technical documents from internal/external customers and suppliers
  • Coordination of the elaborated results with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Preparation of documents for customer training
  • Output of customer documentation in digital form, print media and tablets
  • Dealing with databases, content management systems and their administration

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Completed technical training with further training as a technical editor and initial professional experience
  • Initial experience as a technical writer in the field of defense technology products
  • Good knowledge of technical documentation and ILS as well as ÖAG specifications
  • Good knowledge of standards and regulations for defense and nondefense products
  • TDV, H011, M011, Machinery Directive, DIN EN8207
  • Very good knowledge of the MS-Office package and SAP
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Knowledge of electronic documentation creation
  • Special knowledge in image processing and CAD
  • Experience in the use of databases
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • Confident interaction with customers
  • Organizational talent, coordination skills, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
  • Structured, independent and selfreliant way of working as well as a high degree of initiative
