Global EcoDesign Lead (w/m/d).

Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • You drive an ecodesign programme: establishing a network for collaboration both internally and externally, to support the development of sustainable products
  • You plan and provide regulatory support and insights for redesign planning, for example to meet changing regulatory requirements like the RoHS exemption phase out
  • You collaborate with our regulatory and policy experts to monitor and respond to regulatory changes as well as trends and indicators coming from customers, investors, NGOs and the public
  • You lead the Green Product Passport initiative to ensure compliance with the upcoming requirements of the new EcoDesign Regulation for Sustainable Products
  • You support our company representatives in trade association environmental working groups in European and participate as necessary and support industry initiatives in line with the company's goals, such as the Proactive Industry Alliance, as required
  • You support Healthineers' energy efficiency and sustainability reporting requirements

Your qualifications and experience:


  • You have successfully completed studies in the field of Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or comparable; additional qualifications in Sustainability or Management is preferred
  • You have longterm professional experience in product related ecodesign requirements such as the EcoDesign Directive and in analyzing regulations against impact, detailed requirements, and ways to comply
  • You have additional experience in working with R&D and other technical stakeholders to implement design requirements
  • You have profound experience in the electronics industry, preferably in the Medical Device Sector and very profound skills in leading and supporting global teams and initiatives across functions and business areas
  • Ideally you have experience as a representative in industryassociations, and experience in liaising with regulators and authorities
  • Experience of working within EHS Management Systems and Standards is a plus

  • You own it: You are passionate about Sustainability / Environmental Protection with the ability to persuade and engage others by being emphatic, trustworthy, integer and interculturally sensitive
  • You possess proven analytical and critical thinking skills, creativity, problem solving, and implementation skills as well as a strong skillset for strategy development and deployment
  • You consistently exhibit a proactive approach with the idea to find solutions that fit the demands of Healthineers as well as external parties
  • Your ability to guide and develop crossfunctional (virtual) teams and a culture in a dynamic environment, allows you to accompany through change without authority
  • You have excellent communication skills (target group specific) in English, German is a plus
