The Automotive Systems Division engineering team is looking for a Systems Architect experienced with high-performance, distributed signal processing systems to lead the effort of delivering Bose system architectures into 3rd party software/hardware environments for multiple OEMs.

This engineer understands Bose system needs and skilfully defines architectures that will integrate Bose features into various SoC's and signal processing frameworks.

It is essential the architecture is designed for the software to be maintainable and reusable.

What you'll do:

Work with OEMs, SoC architects, Framework architects to understand roadmaps and collaborate on next gen architectures
Document and communicate system architectures within Bose and to our customers
Work with Bose teams to create Platform Systems Designs that allow reuse of components for multiple customer environments and future proof designs for maintainability.
Create plans for testability and troubleshooting capability for our product in 3rd party system
Define development environments for Bose use prior to integration on target system, lead support teams to create or customize development platforms

What you'll need:

Technical and influencing communication
Asymmetrical Multicore SoC processors e.g. Exynos, Snapdragon
Signal Processing Frameworks
Core Processors, Hypervisors, Automotive OS's
Software architecture (e.g. iSAQB), software design, software test
Automotive Components e.g. A2B, CAN, Power Amplifiers
Vehicle Audio Tuning experience
Automotive Cybersecurity experience
System Engineering Processes (ASPICE experience preferred)
Automotive Verification & Validation experience
Leadership among multiple subsystem teams, inspire collaboration
Leadership developing complex systems among SMEs, peer suppliers, and 3rd party companies.
Modeling languages (SysML/UML) abstraction techniques, graphically represent architecture ideas.
Requirements engineering and product development process in automotive.
Experience delivering projects into production and deployed to different OEMs.
Multinational culture awareness, working with distributed teams around the world.

What you have:

BS degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline. MS degree preferred 10+ years of relevant experience
Work involves occasional travel
