Your area of work:


As part of the CEO Division, the team Group ESG Strategy (GES) is responsible for the development and management of Deutsche Börse Group's ESG strategy.

This includes the management of DBG's own ESG activities (e.g. climate strategy, Group Sustainability Board), the measurement and documentation of ESG KPIs, the support of business areas in the development of ESG products and markets, and the internal and external communication of strategy and results.


Your responsibilities:


  • Strategic support for ESG governance at Group level and in divisions
  • ESG strategy development including communication of ESG framework
  • Optimization of data management as well as data management processes for ESG ratings of DBAG
  • Advancement and performance monitoring of ESG activities at Group level
  • Support/Execution of holistic ESG strategic initiatives across all dimensions of ESG, including the Social dimension encompassing DEI initiatives
  • Raise awareness of ESG strategy within DBG to further foster/develop alignment and engagement
  • Assess and monitor implementation of ESG strategy on individual, process and technological levels and recommend areas of improvement potential
  • Preparation of ESG reporting including for executive management decision processes and board related presentations

Your profile:


  • University degree in Business Administration or similar
  • Several years of professional working experience
  • Strong analytical skills and structured, solutiondriven working methods
  • Demonstrated project management skills, assertiveness, resilience, strong service and customer orientation
  • Strong communication skills to stakeholders of all levels (incl. executive board, senior management, team, internal and external business partners)
  • Ability to work in a team and in a matrix organisation within a multicultural, international environment with high level of initiative, commitment and motivation
  • Excellent knowledge of English in writing and speaking
  • Knowledge and experience in change management. Change Management diploma or similar a plus
