To strengthen our Global Strategy Communications team we are currently looking for an experienced Communications professional to drive our global content strategy in order to further position Munich Re as a leading reinsurance company worldwide and a thought leader in the industry.

Your Job

Create and optimize a global content strategy framework aligned with Munich Re's long term business priorities and the company's global communications strategy
Promote the strategic positioning of Munich Re as a strong business partner as well as a thought leader to clearly defined stakeholder groups
Drive the ideating, researching, creating, refining and distributing of contents relevant for the reputation and overall perception of Munich Re
Establish a systematic and structured planning and management process for topic steering and create a proactive, integrated schedule, based on the corporate communications strategy (across multiple channels)
Coordinate a team of content creators and topic experts to deliver appealing assets and content formats to our targeted stakeholders
Advise and collaborate with senior leaders to develop communication strategies and concepts that support the business and enhance Munich Re ́s reputation

Your Profile

Outstanding degree from a university or specialized college (Master's / Graduate Degree / PhD) or a top business school MBA
10+ years of experience in strategic communications in global or multinational organizations, ideally in (re)insurance or financial services
A deep understanding of topic steering and content management processes
A passion for compelling story telling and coherent communication concepts
Excellent analytical, conceptual and digital skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
Superior critical thinking and problemsolving skills
Highly employer/customer oriented
Strong networking and interpersonal skills
Intercultural leadership experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver ontime
Creative, embracing change and idea leadership
Strong desire to pioneer (comfortable with ambiguity and "finding a way")
