Responsibilities:

Design, continuous improvement and rollout of cost accounting processes related to inventory assets in the global finance community.
Continuous global process improvements, e.g. efficiency and quality improvements
Implementation of standardized companywide accounting and disclosure processes in line with IFRS for the inventoryrelated cost accounting processes
Project support for corporate projects with a particular degree of importance and complexity
Analysis and development of relevant KPIs to control and optimize the cost accounting process on a global level for various stakeholders (Shared Service Center, Global Process Owner, Business, etc.)
Global support in operational and projectrelated business for cost accounting departments in Evonik's Shared Service Centers and local financial services

Requirements:

Several years of experience in accounting, controlling or in the financial sector, especially in the area of inventories, inventory accounting and annual inventory valuation
Excellent knowledge of the relevant SAP modules FI, CO and MM
Solid knowledge of digitalization and automation as well as process mining
Fluency in written and spoken English
Good conflict resolution skills and a conceptual and analytical way of working
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
