Your Team:

You will work as a member of a global team providing support to PTC's customers and business partners for the Kepware product family.

Your Impact:

As a member of our global support organization, you will be collaborating with support colleagues worldwide in providing worldclass technical support to all clients.
You will work closely with R&D, services, and account teams to ensure all issues are handled effectively to meet sales and services goals.

Your Day-To-Day:

You will help customers in their digital transformation journeys (aka Industrial IoT, Smart Factories, etc.).
You will tackle multiple issues in parallel and solve complex technical issues.
You are comfortable in a technical environment and are able to discuss complex product behavior/features with customers and possess a demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.
You will create and publish knowledge articles for reuse by customers and PTC employees.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
You have objective, concise and customer facing communication skills.
You have a desire to learn new soft and technology skills and to coach, mentor and train colleagues across the company.
You have experience working with hardware sensors, devices, machines, or industrial PLC's and their respective network communication protocols.
You have an understanding of machine communication protocols and web services development including use of a REST API.

Other skills that are beneficial for this position:

You have knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL RDBMS, or ANSI SQL; non-SQL DBs like InfluxDB, Cassandra
You have a knowledge of storage networking/cloud computing.
You have programming experience in at least one language: Java, JavaScript and/or other Webrelated development technologies (HTML5, CSS, PHP, etc).
You have experience in Microsoft Windows operating systems.
You have additional language skills in German, French, Romanian, or other European languages.
You have experience providing support or customer service through a community or another socialbased channels.
You have experience working with technically diverse teams.
