We are currently recruiting for an Accountant for a full-time, permanent role.


Job Purpose

  • To oversee all aspects of financial and management accounting and administration and ensure that the company's financial policies and procedures are effectively implemented and complied with.
  • To provide financial strategic development and support to the Group as and when required.
  • To be a valuable and credible source of information and advice for Associates relating to financial matters.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee finance and accounting functions including but not limited to budgeting; monthly management accounts; asset management; cash flow management; management reporting; financial, variance and accounts analysis; group accounting and consolidation in accordance with generally accepted German accounting principles.
  • Assist in the development of current and longterm organisational goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures.
  • Ensure internal financial and administrative procedures are compatible with prevailing laws within Germany.
  • Ensure that regular, accurate and concise financial statements are developed and presented to relevant internal and external stakeholders in a way that provide adequate information for decision making as and when required.
  • Prepare and present annual financial statements up to external audits, in consultation with your line manager and any other relevant stakeholder.
  • Develop and prepare any other management reports in a timely manner in accordance with organisational requirements. These reports include but are not limited to month end management account tasks, such as fixed assets, prepayments, accruals of the month end process.
  • Develop and prepare other management reports in an appropriate manner in accordance with organizational requirements. These reports are not limited to accounting accounts, such as bookkeeping.
  • Asset accounting, advance payments or provisions.
  • Performing general administrative duties including, but not limited to, filing and typing and own general correspondence.
  • To work and liaise closely with other Associates within the same and other departments to develop effective systems and good practice within the organisation.
  • Work closely with the line manager or members of the management to identify any problems and concerns regarding financial information.
  • To be involved in project work as and when required which may or may not be financially related.
  • To attend supervision, training and meetings as and when required. There may be a necessity for these to be outside of normal working times.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Work pattern:
Flex time (Core office time: 09:30-16:00 from Monday.
Thursday.; 09:30-14:00 on Friday)

Salary: 50.000,00€ ,00€ per year


Experience:


  • Accountant: 3 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
Düsseldorf (required)
