Job Description:


  • Leading directly or indirectly all support units for Germany and managing and controlling the respective interfaces. This shall ensure bestinclass services and governance to all Statkraft units in Germany.
  • Developing and driving the strategic agenda of the German power generation and development business. But also developin common and harmonised strategic plans in the country, together with relevant BAs/SAs. Regular followup and implementation of the related action items.
  • Protecting Statkraft's business from a regulatory and legal perspective by managing risk and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and The Statkraft Way across activities.


In general this important role is supporting the SVP/Country Manager Germany in his country manager role when it comes to internal representation: Responsibility for implementing an efficient support organisation, processes, and staffing and in collaboration with the BA support functions, Corporate Staff and CFO&IT area - utilizing the full matrix.


Qualifications:


Education

  • Master's Degree or equivalent

Experience / knowledge

  • At least 10 years relevant working experience
  • Several years leadership experience
  • Understanding of capital intensive industries and matrix organisations

abilities

  • Ability to manage and influence priorities in large and complex environments
  • Relationship builder with the ability to collaborate constructively with business and functional leaders
  • High personal integrity and high ethical standards
  • Strong strategic mindset and a sense for developing successful organisation
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English
Additional Information

Areas of responsibility and accountabilities

  • HR Germany
  • German Communications & Marketing which includes the interfaces to central communication units
  • Shaping and managing the interfaces with support units across Business Area Europe as well as Corporate (Sustainability, Health & Safety, Political Affairs, Legal, Compliance, IT etc.)
  • Managing the strategy development across the Business Unit "Germany" and in coordination with other units active in the country, mostly Trading & Orignation, but also New Energy Solutions (Hydrogen, EV charging, Venture Capital,)
  • Represent country interests and perspectives towards group support function units eg. by taking the stakeholder role for Germany in Corporate and BA projects
  • Develop and implement country procedures and guidelines in The Statkraft Way, where there are local needs for complementing group governance
