Job description:

The research group "Proteomics and Cancer Cell Signaling ", headed by Dr.

Ashok Kumar Jayavelu at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, is systematically analyzing drug resistant mechanisms in cancer cells using both experimental and computational approaches.

Towards this goal, we aim to decipher the role of splicing factors and RNA binding proteins regulation in hematopoietic malignancies.

Our work will utilize state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based proteomic approaches as a primary discovery tool but not limited.


Requirements:


  • Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell culture, S2 lentiviral shRNA, and CRISPR technology is mandatory.
  • Experience in bioinformatics, proteomics, transcriptomics, and omicsdata handling is highly advantageous, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in some level of mouse handling is also an advantage, but not mandatory.
  • An excellent command of English is preferred.
