AR, tax filings and financial statements


In Hempel, we are looking for AR Team Leader, who will be managing a team of 5-7 Accountants to ensure day to day operational team duties are processed in a timely manner, with the highest quality and according to company policy, SSC procedures and accounting rules.

Responsibilities:


  • Set priorities and plan workload to meet deadlines and achieve the objectives of the department;
  • Mentor and coach team members and support workplace learning;
  • Motivate team members and initiate opportunities for skills development;
  • Provide feedback to employees regularly, including Performance Appraisal Process meeting;
  • Ensure accurate postings
  • Follow up with customers to ensure payment
  • Teamup with other functions to reduce AR

Requirements:


  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or related area
  • Experience in leading financial teams minimum 23 years
  • Good command of the English and German languages
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Knowledge of

ERP:
SAP/D365/AX would be an advantage
