Task description:

The exact amount of working days for short-term experts will be determined according to the needs of the project once the project is being implemented.

Description:
Exemplary tasks of the expert pool B

Codevelop six shortterm trainings (concept, curricula, methods, materials) for selected job profiles in selected sectors, thereby ensuring 1) that the intended skills sets meet the needs of regional employers, and 2) that the trainings fulfil all contentrelated and structural requirements set by regional and national education authorities
Establish networks with regional employers and other relevant stakeholders in Anbar
Support the coteaching and mentoring for VTC teachers during the pilot phase of implementing the new shortterm trainings
Support the assessment of the pilot phase
Support the assessment of the VTC's organizational capacities
Give technical advice to enhance the organizational capacities of the VTC via consultancy and trainings
Facilitate the organisational preparations for the first implementation round of the newly developed shortterm trainings via PR and communication, selection and admission of participants, organization of courses etc.
Organize six matchmaking events (e.g., job fairs), i.e., two each in Ramadi, Fallujah and Heet
Support the establishment of an "Anbar Skills Development Council", involving all relevant regional stakeholders from the education sector, business and politics

Qualifications:

University degree (Master's or equivalent) in educational sciences or another relevant field of study
Knowledge of Arabic, C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; knowledge of English, B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
8 years of professional experience in developing and implementing further education & training courses; in management and administration of an education institution
7 years of professional experience in curriculum development and teaching further education and training courses, teacher training, cooperation with the private sector, PR and communication, governance and financial management of an education institution
4 years of management of an education institution
2 years of experience in development cooperation
