This position is field-based, with a remote home office location convenient to reach all customers within the assigned support territory (Germany).

A day in the Life:


  • Active contribution to the annual operating plan and the achievement of team and individual goals.
  • Coordinate your allocated customer activities for pre
- and post-sales.
- and long-term needs.

  • Collect and communicate market intelligence and voice of customer to relevant partners and managers.
  • Assist the review of customer training content, working closely with other scientists, marketing and product management colleagues.

Keys to Success:


Education:

Academic Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Science or equivalent experience


Experience and Other Skill Qualifications:

  • Several years of handson experience in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Working experiences from an environmental laboratory would be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:


  • Knowledge of market trends and drivers in the GC-MS market.
  • Positive and energetic personality with strong sense of accountability, analytical and problemsolving skills, customer advocate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Proven capabilities of teamwork, ability to share information, knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, to prioritize and seek support when needed, to meet goals.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English would be a plus.
  • Driving License.
  • Willingness to travel mainly within the appointed region but also through Europe (expected travel time ~ 50%)
