YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finance business partner for Brenntag Excellence (incl.

Indirect Procurement):

Business partner to and performance Controlling of Brenntag Indirect procurement organization (savings generated, cost development of different categories, inflation analysis)
Sparring partner for all Brenntag Excellence related business cases
Ensuring that effects planned are realized and accuracy of Brenntag Excellence related communication to capital markets
Alignment with PnL owners on business cases

Additional tasks:

Owner of the Budget Process for the CTO (Chief Transformation Officer) domain
Working on projects for Brenntag global or the CTO organization
Responsible for developing standard reporting to support the leaders of the CTO organization and ensure cost control & transparency
Handling of ad hoc and approval requests (coordination of approvals with relevant other corporate departments; IT, Tax, Legal, Cyper Security, Corporate Controlling)

YOUR PROFILE:

Relevant degree in Business administration, Finance, Controlling etc.
3+ years' experience in Finance & Controlling, desirable with experience in chemical distribution industry
Highly analytical, independent & assertive mindset
Strong stakeholder management on all levels
Interest to work as an interface among different fields of profession
Familiar with process in operations of a distribution company (e.g. Supply Chain or Commercial)
Ideally technical affinity as many process transformations are linked to technology
Fluent in English
