Tasks:


  • Corporate Secretary, general legal guidance, fund law, mergers and acquisitions / integration
  • Legal advisory scope:
  • Insurance supervisory law / regulatory law
  • Business law
  • Lawsuit abilities (litigation management, dealing with external lawyers)
  • Governance and corporate secretary (attending board meetings, drafting and review of resolutions, notary and trade register matters et alia)
  • Outsourcing expertise and experience (assistance to the Outsourcing management function, legal evaluation of outsourcing contracts and matters, notification to BaFin)

Requirements:


  • Able to see and shape the "bigger picture," with an absolute command of detail Communication skills for effective stakeholder management
  • Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment and manage conflicting priorities in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Flexible and with a positive attitude towards change; resilient, selfmotivated likes to be busy and helpful to others; able to comfortably navigate through ambiguity
  • Determined to solve challenges and provide the highest quality standards
  • A good team player at all levels who effortlessly and successfully interacts across functions and with our external asset manager, involving senior decision makers and technical specialists to achieve results
  • Good skills in corporate law, investment management, and financial services legislation
  • Strong skills in outsourcing matters Knowledgeable with German and EU regulatory law for the financial industry, particularly for insurance companies and Pensionskassen
  • Extremely comfortable with Microsoft Office (word, excel, and powerpoint)
  • Business English fluency
