For our Finance team at our HQ in Berlin we are looking for you as a

Head of Accounting (f/m/x/d)

Your Mission:

You are responsible for the management of accounting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations for all MILES companies
You carry out quality checks, identify potential for improvement and proactively suggest process optimizations
You are responsible for accounting and reporting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
You prepare financial reports, annual financial statements (incl. notes, management report) for all German companies
You lead the audit of the MILES companies with our auditors
You work closely with the Group Accounting, Treasury and Controlling departments, as well as with our external tax advisors
You take over the leadership of the accounting team
You will be in charge of the new ERP system implementation

Your Strengths:

You have a degree in business administration, finance or a related field
You have extensive experience in accounting and have already successfully held a manager position
You are characterized by your strong analytical skills
You speak both German and English at a native or fluent level
