Our client is a patient-centric, innovative and globally emerging biopharmaceutical company focused on extremely rare autoimmune diseases.

Your primary areas of focus are:

In your role as Medical Director, you raise awareness and develop strong advocacy for the company-owned products with key opinion leaders, clinicians and other medically relevant stakeholders and institutions.
You cultivate collaborative relationships and engage in scientific exchange based on rational, evidencebased, and scientifically supported medical arguments.
You act as a scientific peertopeer resource towards disease experts and provide your medical community with uptodate relevant medical information.
You establish the structures of the Medical Affairs Team in Germany
You support your Medical Affairs Team and other colleagues regarding all medical related questions and stay in close contact to the global medical team

Desired Skills and Experience:

You own a master degree + PhD in Natural Sciences or have a MD degree.
You have 5+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry ideally with Biotech reference and 3+ years in a acting medical affairs role in Rare Diseases.
Previous experience in successfullylaunched biologics or therapeutics is a plus.
Therapeutic experience in genetics, metabolic disorders, gastroenterology or neurodegenerative disorders is strongly preferred.
In addition, you have a good knowledge of the German healthcare system and national regulations relating to codes of practice within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in the AMNOG Process is required
Furthermore, you work from home office and infield if needed.
Good written and verbal knowledge of German and English is a matter of course for you.
