Your next challenge as Head of Operations & Payment Processes (Germany & Austria)
BRS Germany & Austria are successfully converting all their products step-by-step from paper to digital (card / mobile).

By conversion as well as new sales we experience significant growth in digital products causing "Growing Pains" in the production processes.

The purpose of the position is to ensure smooth daily operations and continuous process improvements leading to low Processing Cost overall (Implement Measurement & Management)


Main tasks include:

As Head of Operations & Payment Processes you will:

  • Manage and develop a strong and efficient team of Operations & Payment in period of growth
  • Establish core KPI's to ensure efficient daily monitoring of process quality and service levels
  • Manage our external providers for card processing & card scheme (Visa), card production & personalization as well as logistics & shipment
  • Ensure scaling & sizing of internal and external capacities/providers in accordance with our growth strategy
  • Establish payment operations as a central pillar in our customer experience
- ensuring ease of use for all stakeholders

  • Improve operations & payment processes with a lean approach and advocate operations in company projects

You're a match if you have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial transaction operations (Payment Service Provider/ Processor/ Bank; FinTech or Larger Retailer as eCom brick&mortar)

Very good understanding of financial transactions in Payment and (e)Commerce:

Issuing or Acquiring Processing:

Card payments & schemes

  • At least 12 years of experience in people management
  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent education
  • Very good understanding of financial transactions in Payment and (e)Commerce
  • Ability to manage and develop teams through metrics and KPI's
  • Expertise in Supplier Management and the ability to manage operational SLAs and settle appropriate actions plan
  • Methodical knowledge in process & knowledge management
  • Resilience, resourceful and able to find new ways of working
  • Fluent oral and written in German and English (required).
  • Be available to work in a hybrid mode and live in Germany or Austria
