A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Team Lead of the Supplier Quality Development, you are a crucial member in the quality management team, with a preventive attitude and a resolutive dedication implementing mid
- and long-term strategies. You develop and align supplier audit plans, based on the material field focus and the supplier performance review results. Following-up on the development of suppliers and identifying deviation on-time belongs to your daily tasks. Jointly with the material field teams, you analyze supplier performance metrics and providing regular updates to management, including management recommendations. A positive relationship with suppliers to ensure open communication and collaboration is something you understand as crucial for your success.

How You'll Make an Impact

Establishing a roadmap to continuously improve the development and qualification of suppliers, including definition and tracking of measures to secure quality through a preventive approach (APQP, PPAP, 8D, RCA, FMEA, etc)
Settingup a system (incl. procedure) to enable a consistent (and consequent) followup on actions and commitment out of supplier development activities
Defining assessment methodology (procedure, systems, questionnaires, etc) enabling auditors to conduct assessments and audits at suppliers' sites as well as continuously reviewing of SE internal requirements (SE CoC) as well as changes in legal and norms frameworks
Performance based steering of suppliers as well as establishing lead and steer fast response teams with contingency procedures (riskbased approach)
Providing management continuous risk assessment out of monitoring of released suppliers' performance
Developing and leading an international established organization, location across the cluster locations as well as identifying need for further development/improvement of individuals' skills

What You Bring

Bachelor/Master or PhD degree in engineering or related field
8+ years of related experience in supplier development and quality management, with multifunctional experience in the fields R&D, Manufacturing or Project management
Strong analytical skills and experience with quality methods i.e. APQP, FMEA, 8D, RCA.
Knowledge of supplier management standard methodologies and industry trends as well as certificate as Auditor (an advantage is considered VDA 6.3 / 6.7)
Experience in leading and developing international organizations (hybrid model) with high mobility
Proficient in both German and English (written and spoken)
Great teammate, accurate work, high level of selfinitiative and flexibility is required as well as excellent communication and social skills
High ability (>50%) to travel domestically and internationally as needed
