Duties:


  • You will plan, synchronize and coordinate all U.S. Marine Corps component Intelligence Security Cooperation (ISC) programs and activities, both Title 10 and Title 22 funded, in the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).
  • You will coordinate with Headquarters Marine Corps and Combatant Command Foreign Disclosure Offices for support and/or training of Command Foreign Disclosure Representatives.
  • You will facilitate coordination between forward deployed Marines forces and combatant command (COCOM) staffs, US Embassy country teams, adjacent service component headquarters, and partner militaries in order to execute ISC events.

  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.

  • Subject to CI Scope Polygraph examinations and this position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
  • Tour of duty will be 36 months.
  • This position may requires a 2Year DCIPS trial period requirement.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
-
GS/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as:
-
1) Coordinate between fleet marine forces and combatant command (COCOM) staffs, US Embassy country teams, adjacent service component headquarters, and partner militaries in order to execute ISC events;

2) Maintain liaison with high-level intelligence professionals at other intelligence agencies and allied countries to provide or obtain information;

3) Lead intelligence personnel to ensure operational and administrative functions are accomplished in accordance with mission objectives;

4) Coordinate with Combatant Command, Service and Joint Staffs for support and/or training of Command Foreign Disclosure Representatives.-

Because the work spaces for this position are in the basement and the workspaces are on the 2d floor, there is a physical requirement to have to climb stairs several times a day.

Work is primarily sedentary; however, walking, standing, and climbing of stairs is required because of the location of offices and computer facilities.
