Your assignments:

In our independent global unit, you will develop analytical and machine learning use cases relating to dialysis and beyond.
You will lead the implementation of solutions from pilots and POCs into productive systems.
Within an existing team of data scientists, you will help to identify new solutions and strategies in close cooperation with other areas of the business.
You will become a point of contact for the global data science community, take our work out into the world and contribute to the identification of new technologies and partners.
In addition, you help to support and develop junior data scientists with their projects and personal development.
In addition, you are responsible for knowledgeable communication of your results to experts, laypersons and corresponding stakeholders.
Ultimately, you will help to drive our data projects with modern technology and AI, you will make our medical technology fit for the future.

Your profile:

Completed study in computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, economics, engineering sciences or a comparable quantitative discipline
At least first professional experience in a challenging data science role, ideally in the fields of medical technology or healthcare
Solid experience in managing data science projects in an interdisciplinary context with different stakeholders
First practical experience in leading a small team is an advantage
Grounded knowledge of modern machine learning methods (classification, regression, anomaly detection, time series etc.), inferential statistics (tests, interpretation of models, Bayesian methods)
Solid experience of software development best practices for ML (git, Docker, unit testing etc)
Experience with the setup and implementation of various cloud services (databases, compute instance, APIs) for ML, ideally using Azure Cloud
Strong communication skills combined with conceptual creative thinking as well as an entrepreneurial, customer and resultsoriented style of working
