Role in the team:

You will report to your "Team Lead - Aerostructures" and work closely with the aircraft final assembly teams.

We are looking for experienced and motivated technicians with an eye for detail and a strong sense of quality.

You will work with your team in Aerostructure Assembly to produce the first Lilium jets, liaising closely with the other teams in production.

Your daily tasks:

You and your team are responsible for safety, adherence to deadlines and quality in all phases of aircraft structure production
Assembly and joining of highperformance structural components made of plastic, ceramics and fibre composites
Final assembly of the overall structure made of metal and carbon fibre materials,
Drilling, cutting, riveting and fastening/bonding of metal and carbon fibre materials
You support the identification of improvement opportunities in workflows and processes in production and assembly
Interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering and other teams in production

Your profile:

Completed technical training or a comparable qualification of several years in prototype construction, or in small series production in the aerospace industry
Production of fits and industrystandard joining processes, e.g. HI-LOKs, HI-LITES
Expertise in cutting, drilling and machining composite parts within tight tolerances using hand tools
Written and verbal understanding of work instructions and sketches in English is a basic requirement
