Electronic Equipment Responsible (d/f/m)
A vacancy for an Electronic Equipment Responsible (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth. As a successful applicant you will join the department "Computers and Electronics".


Within the Systems division of the design office, you are in charge of electronic equipment (control boxes, ancillary boards, sensors) for civil and military helicopters.


Your location


At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product.

Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Establish and write the requirement specification of electronic equipments based on the needs defined by the system architects and the function design responsible
  • Assess the technical proposals provided by the equipment suppliers
  • Interface and manage the suppliers throughout the development
  • Lead the main design and qualification reviews and challenge the electronic design proposed by the suppliers
  • Manage the interface between the suppliers and Airbus Helicopters specialists of environmental qualification, electrical networks, safety, security, testability, etc.
  • Define the installation constraints in the helicopter and verify the compatibility of electronic interfaces between equipments
  • Be the referent to support endtoend operations with these equipments beyond initial development, and support Final Assembly Lines activities or inservice operations as required

Desired skills and qualifications

  • University degree in Electronics Engineering or similar
  • Practical experience within an Engineering organization would be beneficial
  • Experience within analog and digital electronics, and Aeronautical standards
  • DO25
  • English proficiency: negotiation level, German skills would be an advantage
  • Ability to selforganize and to lead multiple activities in parallel
  • Autonomy, initiative and anticipation mindset
  • Smooth and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
