ABOUT THE TEAM


The Infused Intelligence team is responsible for delivering innovative and user-centric cloud solutions through different ML technologies to internal stakeholders.

Team members are building cutting-edge models for delivery into solution areas ranging from marketing to post-sales, HR, and finance.

Model building includes data ingestion, cleansing and analysis, model training and evaluation, as well as deployment to SAP environments like SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BTP and SAP AI Core, as well as Azure Databricks.

As every use case is unique and explicitly tailored to SAP's own data and architecture, every use case offers research and development perspectives.

In our team, you will work on a major big data use case and build a state-of-the-art model impacting our standard business processes.


THE ROLE

  • Work with a team of data scientists and ML engineers on Machine Learning models and deployment pipelines.
  • Work on a cuttingedge big data use case.
  • Provide creative solutions in the solutionspace of time series pattern detection.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand business processes and model input data accordingly.
  • Support a highvisibility project together with experienced data scientists.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related fields,
  • Interest in optimizing business processes and decision making with machine learning,
  • Proficiency in Python and preferably at least one other programming language (e.g. Java, Scala, R),
  • Experience with data analysis/visualization as well as common ML packages in Python or R (e.g. Pandas, numpy, scikitlearn, statsmodels, keras, matplotlib, ggplot2, dplyr, etc.),
  • Good understanding of statistical methods (descriptive analyses, regression modeling, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Advanced experiences with Machine Learning models

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Spark (e.g. pyspark and MLLib)
  • Hyperscaler experience (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud or similar)
  • Familiar with software version control (e.g. Git).
  • Experience with CI/CD frameworks (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD).
