The position is to be filled for a limited period of 24 months as part of a parental leave replacement.

Your Role

As an essential part of our team, you are responsible for carrying out tests (experiments) as part of product development in the (food) chemistry laboratory
In addition to the analyzes using instrumental methods (HPLC, GC), your tasks also include the support and implementation of scaleups and pilot plant syntheses on a semiproduction scale
You present your analysis results to your teammates and manage all questions that arise confidently and competently even across departmental boundaries
With your knowhow, you will also support the creation of test and analysis regulations
You optimize and implement new analysis methods
You document data and (development results) in our laboratory management/project management systems
The organization of raw material stocks and the care and maintenance of the laboratory aids used are your responsibility

Your Profile

Your chemicaltechnical interest is reflected in your professional training (ideally CTA (M/F/d), PTA (M/F/d))
Thanks to practical experience in a chemical laboratory, you approach new questions with ingenuity and a solutionoriented manner
In addition to your passion for science, you enjoy thinking outside the box and continually expanding your existing specialist knowledge
In order to find good solutions in timecritical situations, you are not afraid to represent your ideas and implement them courageously with the team
You are familiar with the documentation of process flows, analysis and reaction results in various laboratory management systems (LIMS, SAP)
Your team appreciates your responsible and excellently organized way of working, especially when it comes to the operation and maintenance of instrumental analysis (HPLC, GC).
Your working languages are German and ideally English
