The impact you will make
We are looking to hire a Working Student for 20 hours per week.

As an Electrical Engineering Working Student, you will be a crucial part in the development of critical components for MF experimental campaigns.

Together with mechanical engineers and scientists, you will help in the design of motion control and diagnostic test setups.

More specifically, you will:

Construct motion control and diagnostic test setups

Test electrical safety and compliance of equipment

Off-site electrical support, including installation and testing of motion control, diagnostic, imaging, and power supply systems

Experience with basic Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design; - 2 Layers

Knowledge of motion control code scripting (Object-based coding)
Write Electrical Testing protocols and reports, creating wiring and system diagrams/schematics

What you bring

Degree or currently studying Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent

Good knowledge of electrical engineering/electronics, experience with hardware and software design

Experience with electrical - electronics schematic drawings, mainly SolidWorks electrical design

Experience with electrical diagnostic equipment and instruments such as Power supply boxes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

Experience with object-based coding languages such as Python
