Your contribution to TenneT:


Project managementYou are responsible for

the realisation of a land station within a dedicated regional cluster; you

lead

(functionally) and

steer the work of the project team as well as

colleagues from other teams who support the project

  • You manage the
    site preparation, design, construction, commissioning and handover according to specifications
  • You develop and maintain valuable
    stakeholder relationships, esp. with contractors, suppliers and legal authorities with a strong partnershipapproach and mindset
  • You ensure
    compliance with deadlines, costs, quality and HSE guidelines, TenneT's documentation requirements and authority regulations
  • You are responsible for
    HSE topics within the team and on site

Team management

  • You
    help set up, staff and lead an efficient and dedicated team to realize project goals. You
    help set tangible and ambitious goals in alignment with TenneT's strategies and objectives
  • You
    help ensure that team members have the necessary skills, training and resources to perform their roles effectively:
  • You
    help set and communicate clear priorities with the team, keep them informed of possible changes, delegate tasks and allocate resources:
  • You align with colleagues within Large Projects Offshore and various other departments to consolidate
    lessons learned from other large projects; you help foster
    open dialogues and
    a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning
    ; you also act as the change agent for standardisation
    in the 2GW projects and optimisation of synergies** between projects

Your profile and background:


  • You have
    preferably a master's degree and an academic level of thinking and working
  • You have
    3+ years of experience working in a comparable project lead role, ideally in the area of big infrastructure
  • You are
    enthusiastic, driven, determined, authentic, inspired, and inspiring. You are
    an effective decisionmaker and are
    determined to bring the decisions into fruition
  • You have
    a strong orientation for collaboration and partnership; you have strong communication skills managing relevant stakeholders like contractors and authorities
  • You are fluent in both
    English and
    German:
  • You are
    willing to travel as per project needs; you are
    preferably IPMA certified or open to obtain

This will be our challenge:


  • Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
