For our client, an established and listed energy company, we are currently looking for a
Procurement professional (M/F/d) in Düsseldorf

Your Tasks:


  • Ensure best valueformoney procurement, maximizing business and project value
  • Overall sourcing responsibility, amongst other things for specific tender strategies, supplier invitation & selection, negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts
  • Deliver efficient and effective procurement operations while ensuring compliance
  • Support and challenge business colleagues across all countries to ensure best commercial outcomes in alignment with "Business Solutions Team" within the Procurement Organization
  • Systems & tools accountability for all sourcing activities using SAP for tenders
  • Actively manage suppliers ensuring competitive contracts and reliable supplies
  • Contract & Claims management where required

Your Profil:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy industry and/or Procurement
  • Proven track record of managing larger procurement projects and/or tenders
  • Experience in using SAP and relevant platforms
  • Good analytical mindset and willingness to drive performance
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in fluent English & German are required, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
