Your Mission

Become a creator, guardian, and advocate of story, characters, and tone
Team up with narrative designers to write and edit a complete game story including development stages such as treatment drafts, all the way through to final dialogue, text content, and cutscenes
Write content for interactive narrative game systems to create a compelling, emotional gameplay experience
Shape the game world and its characters' tone, maintaining its consistency throughout the game, including contributing to a 'story bible'
Become a champion of the game's story vision
Support the creation of storyboards and cinematic development plans
Support casting, voice recording, and performance capture sessions with sample scripts

Your Skillset

Experience working as a writer on at least one shipped game, film, TV show, or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of fiction writing, screenwriting principles, story development processes, and filmmaking
Experience in writing spoken dialogue with an emphasis on clarity, brevity, and distinct voice
Indepth knowledge of industry trends in interactive storytelling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Plus: Experience in and passion for science fiction
Plus: Experience in working with voice actors and voice directors
Plus: Experience with dynamic or procedural narrative systems

Portfolio

Provide at least three writing samples that are representative of your range and skill:

Include at least one sample of game writing, but feel free to provide short stories, screenplay excerpts, graphic novel excerpts, or video links
