Responsibilities:


  • As an analyst, you support our "Chemical Analysis" team in the field of material analysis of Freudenberg products such as elastomers from sealing and vibration control technology, technical têxtiles and filtration materials and specialty chemical products.
  • In this role, you work on analytical issues using analytical methods in the field of chromatography (GC/MS, HPLC/MS, GPC, ion chromatography) including sample preparation (e.g. extraction, digestion).
  • You carry out the documentation, preparation and evaluation of the test results and prepare reports for our clients.
  • You support the automation/establishment of highthroughput methods on the way to Laboratory 4.0.
  • You support the further development of existing measurement and/or evaluation procedures and create standard instructions and internal test specifications
  • In the future, your tasks will also include the presentation of results and discussion with our clients.
  • You will also take on consulting activities for our partners with regard to the selection of suitable analysis options for specific questions and the interpretation of results.

Qualifications:

  • You are trained as a chemical laboratory technician or chemical technician or have a scientific qualification in the field of chemistry.
  • You have knowledge in the field of analytical chromatography: GC/MS, HPLC/MS.
  • Ideally, you have practical experience in the field of characterization and sample preparation (e.g. extraction) of elastomer samples.
  • You have a high level of quality awareness and work with modern laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Your selforganization is excellent ('Sense of Urgency').
  • You look forward to the changes that a research and development environment brings.
  • You are interested in learning or ideally already know programming languages.
  • You are communicative, have a handson mentality and are characterized by a high degree of customer orientation.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and have a good command of English.
