YOUR MISSION:

We are looking for the Intern in the field of Sensors and Actuators for Robotics and Automation for 6 months mandatory Internship.
You will push the limits of performance for our highly integrated industrial servo drives.

Together with you, we will tailor your job-profile around some of the following key areas:

  • Handson on our latest products and prototypes.
Testing and analysis of motor and motion control quality, including:
current, torque, velocity and position control modes

  • Integrated encoder systems: Function development and performance validation
  • Design, build and modify testbenches for various system level tests to ensure the functionality of our products and prototypes in all possible conditions.
  • Prototyping of modelbased control algorithms in simulation and in hardware using a rapid control prototyping system (Speedgoat)
  • For the mechanical part of the plant (modelling inertia, friction, reducers etc.)
  • For the motor control part of the plant (PWM, commutation, modelbased current control etc.)
  • Prototyping and developing testbenches and tests for various other departments like production, end of line testing, continuous integration testing, etc.
  • General support of the Validation Team
About the Quality and Validation at Synapticon

Given all the excellence and passion that our engineers have designed into our products in their respective fields, we as team Quality and Validation Team ensure that these products perform under all circumstances in the lab as well as in the field.

HACKING THE PHYSICS AND ECONOMICS OF MOTION CONTROL WITH DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY:

  • At Synapticon we're reshaping the world of motion control for robotics and machinery at the point of motion.

The company introduces an entirely new approach to motion axes by integrating formerly discrete components, such as motors, drives, sensors and gearboxes into seamless units and digitizing performance and quality factors that are so far dependent on costly mechanical manufacturing.
