We are looking for a technical oriented controller to support our Aviation Finance Controlling Center of Excellence team based in Leipzig.

We are also open to +/- 1 hour CET locations

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?:

The purpose of the role is to provide support for controlling and reporting for Global Aviation Finance to ensure accurate reporting of Global Aviation costs and supporting effective decision making for the Aviation Network by providing sound financial information and guidance. This will be achieved through
Design, development and optimization of Power BI reports to support the digitization of financial reporting within DHL Express.
Collaborate with various functions, IT development and external vendors when required for customization/development of tools which specifically meet business needs, research, tools & program design, and support with testing as required.
Provide key business inputs, to understand and translate business needs into technical language/model.

Do you have what it takes?:

Lets start with a University degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration or comparable qualification/background. Ideally some experience in a Controlling role
Ideally 23 years experience in Aviation of Finance in Express or Similar business, and some knowledge of accounting will be key.
Ability to prepare analytical reports and interpret key business information with financial acumen.
Proven capabilities to build, maintain and manipulate large and complex datasets.
Proficiency in Excel (including VB), MS Office, PowerBi and Proficiency with either Python or R programming language.
Strong communication skill including presentation and negotiation skills.
Able to work effectively in multi cultural environment, positive and with a "Can Do" attitude
