  • The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 14 Euro per hour.
  • Digitization is changing everything. Our information and communication behavior, our way of working and living. In order to remain relevant in the digital world, Welthungerhilfe is also actively working to question its previous business processes, its thought patterns and its actions. In order to proactively support these changes, we need reinforcements in our department in a timely manner, as we are also in a process of change. For our international team we are looking for you as a working student to support us in conceptualizing and communicating the new direction of the department.

Your responsibilities:


  • Together with us, you bring #NewID4IT to life and it starts with our new name DSO (Digital Services & Operations)
  • You will support us by gathering feedback from our stakeholders within the organization, preparing discussions and contributing new ideas
  • You will prepare communication materials and meetings on the new IT to communicate the changes to our colleagues around the world
  • You facilitate mutual understanding through targeted inquiries about wishes, goals, possibilities and limits on all sides in the case of specific inquiries, but also through open roundtable formats, where new ideas and questions can be discussed together
- "Change must be experienced" - you creatively support us in the development, design, communication and promotion of awareness campaigns, trainings and (virtual) events for collaborative information exchange

  • You will use different communication channels to reach as many colleagues as possible and to win them for our common cause

Your profile:


  • You are a student and currently enrolled at a university/college
  • The big picture: You have a basic understanding of the conception, development and support of digital platforms and can accompany others on their way into the digital future
  • Tools: Very good MS Office skills are a given for you and you are also confident with Office 365 products such as SharePoint and Teams
  • Facilitation: You support us in internal trainings in the area of "digital literacy" and can also convey tools and technical things to someone who doesn't have much experience with them yet
  • Creativity and a handson mentality characterize you
  • Humor and reliability: We work with all employees worldwide and with all committees. Staying calm and at the same time absolutely precise is no problem for you
  • We might need you to create video clips, photo animations and good presentations to make the change interactive
  • Our team is multicultural, Welthungerhilfe works in almost 40 countries
  • English comes naturally to you
