YOUR FUTURE ROLE


The Sales Development Executive (SDE) plays a critical role in the sales process with the main focus to generate new qualified pipeline for closure by sales executives and partners.

This position requires both strategic and detailed thinking, strong initiative and deep knowledge of how to leverage social and web media to influence business leaders and become their trusted advisors.


Responsibilities include also the following:

  • Executing proactive outbound campaigns and followup incoming marketing leads to nurture and convert them into high quality business opportunities
  • Work closely with Partners on planning and executing campaigns to grow and scale in the SAP cloud business
  • Aligning with sales teams, and once qualified, passing the opportunity to sales to drive the sales process to closure
  • Developing industry and/or product expertise to generate customer interest and serve as digital influencer for SAP
  • Understand business needs quickly and be able to translate problems to solutions with SAPs products very customer focused with good business acumen.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Marketing and/or Sales working experience with strong knowledge on new digital demand generation topics/techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to network within a client ́s organization and access decision makers
  • Understand client business needs and pain points
  • Must be search affine and active in social media to generate leads, for example Twitter, blogging, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
  • Good IT/ preferably business software knowledge and understanding of SAP solutions
  • Strong in teamwork and ability to learn and adapt quickly; Energetic and goal oriented
  • Bachelor equivalent mandatory, preferably in business or ITrelated discipline, Master equivalent preferable
  • Native German speaker mandatory, fluent business English skill mandatory
