Job ID:

Location: Regensburg, DEAs a Material Controller you are the coordinator of Material Budget Process between Purchasing, Business Unit and plants.

This includes baseline discussions with Purchasing, the availability check of BOMs (Bill of Material), support of the target setting and preparation of the official Budget presentation input for material content.

As well you are the process owner for material Forecast of the Business Unit, which contains e.g.

the review of the material situation with main plants and Purchasing in monthly meetings and the alignment of material FC with the Heads of Purchasing Product Lines and Business Unit.


You need to track the actual material performance and support the Purchasing Management in regards of material cost tracking and additional analyses of purchase price variations (PPV).


Special focus topics are:

  • Raw material tracking (RMI) with deepdive investigations to explain recent development and support actions on Sales side related to these cost increases
  • Support the supplier claim tracking in cooperation with Purchasing and Claim management
  • Tracking of Re-DTC measures and close collaboration with Engineering, Product Lines and plants to achieve Re-DTC targets
  • Support Fair Cost Transfer Activities with analyses of Purchasing related cost increases

Your Profile:

  • Completed degree in economics or comparable
  • Long term professional experience in controlling preferably in materials controlling or purchasing
  • Technical affinity and knowledge about Vitesco Technologies Products
  • Experience in working with databases and big data, especially with KNIME and Power-BI
  • Expert knowledge in Excel
  • Several years of Experience with RACE (BW System), MODIAS and SAP R/3 advantageous
  • Business fluent English language skills written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
