What you'll do

Expectations:

You support teams working on projects in different stages of the design process.
You are familiar with design thinking techniques and methodologies and put strong focus on usability when designing.
You conduct user research and user testing (qualitative and quantitative).
You prototype lowfi and highfi mockups independently or within the team.
You are familiar with human computer interaction and usability principles.
You have a basic understanding of sustainability challenges and solutions.

What you bring

Bachelor's / Master student, presently enrolled in an university.
Preferred field(s) of study: Human computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science or similar.
Experience with Figma.
Language skills: fluent English.
Ability to work independently on given tasks with support from a highly motivated team and come up with own ideas on how to solve challenges.
Interest in digital innovation, sustainability and in discovering how to innovate interactions between humans and machines.

Plus:

Experience working with complex design libraries.
Experience with AI tools in UX context.
Frontend development knowledge and technical background.
German.

Meet your team

The Sustainability Innovation Engagement team, which lies within the Sustainability Unit, has the mandate to support the digital sustainability transformation of SAP customers.

This is achieved through E2E orchestration of ecosystem innovation, government/academia funded projects, and accelerated organic innovation incubation with a holistic focus on sustainability.

Within the Sustainability Innovation Engagement Team, there is a small Agile team of designers and developers dedicated to driving innovation and implementing sustainable solutions.

The SAP Sustainability Innovation Engagement team is in several locations around the globe and works closely with product teams and stakeholders across the entire internal and external value chain to orchestrate innovation.
