Main Tasks:

As a legal counsel in CeramTec's Legal Department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of CeramTec's business divisions, in particular by assisting with commercial legal questions that arise in the context of the company's Industrial business.

It would be an asset if you could also support the efforts of the Compliance Department.

This includes the following Main Tasks:

Draft and review of contracts and other legal documents between entities and their customers, suppliers and other third parties
Ensure compliance with contract guidelines and local laws and regulations
Advise and manage risks associated with contracts
Provide counsel and clarification to issues arising in negotiations
Interact with, and coordinate inputs from, procurement, sales and marketing and other stakeholders
Prepare and review of legal analyses
Assist the General Counsel in various capacities on a variety of legal issues and topics
Analyse and provide proposal for resolution on Compliance questions and issues
Preparation of guidelines and other structure to further build the Compliance structure

Your Profile:

You have a Master of Laws degree or a comparable degree from a nonGerman University, or a German law degree. You are admitted to the practice of law in a European country or the U.S.
You have a number of years of professional experience in a corporate legal function in an international company or a law firm
You have strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
You have strong ethics and professionalism as well as the ability to communicate at all levels of the corporate organisation.
You are fluent in English (oral and written), German (at least level B2); another language would be desirable.
You are a selfstarter and enjoy teamwork as much as working independently.
Ideally, you have experience in the automotive or electronics industries
