The Rosarium is a family-operated Floral Boutique located on 3 Continents

We are a full service retail flower shop/online fulfillment centre. We are seeking to hire a Floral Designer.

This is a full-time permanent position, Floral design certification is preferred from a reputable institution along with 3-5 years experience in the floral industry.

Job duties are described below:

• Design floral arrangements for all occasion including funerals, weddings and events
• Purchasing fresh flowers and hard goods
• Maintain and organize work place
• Train new and junior designers
• Keep up with the trend in the floral industry
• Cut and arrange flowers to make decorative displays and arrangements
• Pack orders and prep fresh flowers
• Select custom accessories to package with flowers
• Research arrangement ideas
• Strong customer service skills
• Assisting customers in a courteous, professional & friendly manner

Requirements:

• 1 year previous customer service experience (preferably as a florist)
• Passionate about floral displays and helping people
• Artistic eye for design and displays
• Some knowledge about flowers and maintenance
• Must have patience, and be polite and professional at every point of client contact
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Be friendly, positive and have an outgoing personality
• Great work ethic, punctual and reliable
• Other duties as assigned
