Position Summary:
This position is a maternity cover 6 month fixed term contract that will hold responsibility for nurturing and supporting new and existing Advanced Cell Diagnostics business throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure existing customer base throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Central Europe (Bio-Techne Central Sales Area) is supported by understanding their current research and how the Bio-Techne and specifically the Advanced Cell Diagnostic portfolio sits within this.
- Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams in the Central Sales Area, support lead generation and marketing to ensure a cohesive team for maximum customer support.
- Identifying business growth opportunities in collaboration with ACD Specialists and Local Account Management teams.
- Ensure new customers are onboarded to the ACD technology in an effective and efficient manner, providing continued support through new set ups and longterm instrument management.
- Work closely with External ACD Sales Specialist team to ensure customer needs are met in terms of product information, quoting and technical support.
- Act in a commercially savvy way to unlock new business opportunities through existing customers as well as live interactive web chats.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and competitors. Report findings and potential pipeline both monthly and quarterly to the EMEA Genomics Product Manager.
- Represent the company at domestic and international conferences.
Education and Experience:
- An understanding of the Life Science Market
- Fluent in English & German.
- Demonstrable experience of working within a customer care/sales environment with a strong commercial focus.
- Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment.
- Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI's)
- Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel and Word are essential.
