About Mutares

For our holding company in Munich, we are looking for an
intern or working student
(M/F/d)** starting in September/ October 2024 to strengthen our finance department

Your Tasks

  • You support the development of analyses and processes on special financerelated questions, e.g. in the area of risk management and/or investment controlling (variance analyses, etc.), in each case in close contact with the operational units of our portfolio
  • You support with financial statementrelated tasks (annual, consolidated, and quarterly financial statements) and in particular with the preparation and compilation of the consolidated financial statements (consolidation, IFRS and German GAAP accounting topics)
  • You support in the preparation of presentations for the executive board, supervisory board and investors
Your Profile

  • You are currently completing your Bachelor's / pursuing your Master's in business administration or a comparable course of studies with specialisation in accounting, finance, auditing or similar
  • Previous Internships in auditing (ideally with a Big 4 company), internal auditing or investment controlling are a plus
  • You have a deep understanding of business contexts, analytical skills and interest in different business models
  • You are business fluent in English (written and spoken), another European language is desirable
