What you'll do

• Contribute actively in the global Knauf IT transformation journey as a member of the Network Service Design area
• Pilot the development of the LAN/WLAN strategy and outline the implementation roadmap to achieve the target network state while reporting on regular basis relevant decisions with the Lead Service Owner
• Undertake responsibilities and act as a technical authority for Office Network (LAN/WLAN) related demands and projects
• Advice on the continuous development of the Office Network (LAN/WLAN) global strategy to ensure a state-of-the-art service and continuous fulfillment of business needs
• Provide assistance in the initiation of projects related to the optimization of Knauf Office Networks (LAN/WLAN), such as the refreshment of the LAN/WLAN infrastructure
• Aid in the implementation and documentation of LAN/WLAN audits while supporting in the benchmarking of LAN/WLAN network solutions

Who you are

• Diploma/Master degree in Computer Science, or equivalent with 5-8 years' experience in LAN/WLAN network design and architecture
• Cisco certification or strong experience working in a Cisco certified organization (CCNA minimum, CCNP/CCIE preferred)
• Confident in your decisions and demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders & management to drive standardization and transformations in a complex, global scale organization
• Experienced in managing business and vendor relationships with global network solution providers across the globe
• Experience of large-scale LAN & WAN environments (10,000+ users), including routing and switching, segmentation, network security and automation
• Experience and good knowledge in Cisco SD-LAN technology and on DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) solutions
