AvenCell is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of next generation immunotherapies for patients in underserved cancer indications.
We are looking for a Scientist with focus in cellular in vitro assays and flow cytometry within the quality control department.
Tasks
and Responsibilities:
- Support of stability studies and release assays of our cellular and noncellular products
- Organization and timely planning of cellbased assays (e.g. cytotoxicity assays)
- Assay development and support of assay validation activities
- Writing of study plans and reports
- Communication with our contract manufacturing organizations
- Planning of lab activities for technicians and device support for flow cytometry
- Data analysis using MS office, FlowJo and GraphPad
- Reporting of results to the department head as well as data presentation within the company
- Review and writing of regulated documents (e.g. standard operating procedures)
Your Profile:
- Degree in Biology or Life-Science (M.Sc, PhD is highly desirable) with experience in the management of scientific projects and practical focus in the field of cellular immunology
- Demonstrated expertise in immunology, cell biology and flow cytometry
- Advanced knowledge in designing and conducting cellbased assays (e.g. cytotoxicity assays)
- Expertise in GMP and GLP is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problemsolving skills with a strong attention to details
- Ability to manage multiple studies in parallel and capability to adhere to timelines
- Expertise in cell culture and flow cytometry
- Very good verbal and written knowledge of English and German
- Profound skills in Microsoft Office, FlowJo and GraphPad Prism
