Your role:

As a photo intern with Kitchen Stories, you will be responsible for supporting our in-house photo team to produce mouth-watering images for our recipes.

We shoot weekly, for various different platforms and projects. In this internship, focus will be on a core upcoming project for print in 2023. You will work closely with our senior photographers to support on set and with retouching.

Being a global food platform means that we produce new, consistent, and high-quality content every week. Therefore, the creative team follows a tight production plan that complies with brand and style guidelines.

We are a small production team, and there is opportunity to grow and develop in all areas of image production.

In this role:

• You experience the production of new, exciting content in our show kitchens first hand and help our photographer to meet deadlines.
• You support our team with retouching and editing photos for delivery to internal and external stakeholders, for print and online
• You support our photography team on set, from set up to breakdown, managing equipment and providing assistance where needed, including shooting
• You help organize our photoshoots in close collaboration with our photographer, editors and chef
• You assist in prop curating
• Assist where needed before and during photo production and learn the basics of photo and lighting technology.
• Work in a crossfunctional, creative team including content and video team, photographers, chefs, and operations managers

Your profile:

• You are currently enrolled as a student in the field of photography, fine arts, or a related discipline
• You are available for a minimum 3 month fulltime internship
• You have experience shooting in studio lighting
• You have good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Capture One and feel comfortable retouching images in this software.
• You are a communicative, creative person with great organizational skills
• You are passionate about food and have an interest for food

• You are detail oriented and are able to analyze different aspects of a picture
• You are able to understand feedback and make relevant adjustments.
• You are fluent in English, German is a bonus
