Job Description:
HR Generalist

Type of work:
Full time or part time (office based)


Location:
Frankfurt

Contract: 1,5 years

We are looking for a diligent HR Generalist to join our team. This role involves assisting management and various departments with labour law concerns, employee management, and conducting employee discussions.


Your Scope of Duties:

  • Assist management and departments with labor law issues, employee management, and conducting staff meetings.
  • Prepare and process labor law procedures, including employment contracts, certification management, and occupational reintegration management (BEM).
  • Manage personnel administration, including maintaining personnel records, managing onboarding and offboarding, tracking vacation entitlements, company pension schemes, benefits, and preparing monthly payroll input.
  • Serve as the primary contact for health insurance companies, insurers, and authorities.
  • Oversee administration and data maintenance with the personnel software, Workday.
  • Handle correspondence with external entities such as social security institutions, tax offices, and employment agencies.
  • Generate comprehensive HR reports and analyze relevant data to aid management in decisionmaking.
  • Participate in HRrelated projects and process optimization initiatives.

Our requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in personnel administration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of German social security, income tax, and labor law.
  • Familiarity with Austrian social security, income tax, and labor law is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with personnel management and payroll software.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, service orientation, and discretion in handling sensitive data.
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work.
  • A high level of initiative
