The School of Science is looking for the reinforcement of the team in Life Science and Chemistry at the next possible date for a

Your responsibilities:

Your tasks:

- working on funded projects with an emphasis on one or more of the following topics: enantioselective organocatalytic method development and the total synthesis of morphine analogs.
- preparation of presentations and reports
- working in an interdisciplinary team
- working on a PhD or scientific research

Your profile:

Know how to set up organic reactions, monitor, and quench them. You are well versed in reaction optimization and have extensive experience purifying difficult to separate compounds by silica gel cromatography.
Good structure elucidation skills. Capable of indepth interpretation of 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, as well as IR and MS data.
You can write clear experimental descriptions and express spectral and HPLC data in a text format.
