Job description:


Your tasks:


  • Identify, manage, and expand a growing portfolio of partners that utilize atingi as their eLearning platform and have a significant impact on international development
  • Design and implement flexible, innovative, and efficient frameworks for partnerships that support our core values of Gender & Inclusion, Digital Public Goods, and Principles for Digital Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders from public and private sector and within GIZ
  • Directly influence our product portfolio (tech, content, services) by representing our partners and providing their expert feedback to our innovation team
  • Work closely with our Customer Success Management team, who handle the daily operational aspects of all our partners, starting with technical onboarding
  • Drive and be measured by the achievement of our strategic and operational goals

Your profile:


  • A Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Several years of work experience in the Global South in international development projects
  • Equipped with a resilient network of global actors and donors
  • Several years of professional experience in a partnerships or business development role, with a proven track record of acquiring and managing local and global partners from the private and public sector
  • Profound knowledge on partnership modalities with the EU or other international organisations (e.g. WB, Smart Africa, UN), backed by a track record of implementing such partnerships
  • Several years of experience in direct communication with regulators and political institutions
  • At least 3 years of experience working with innovative digital products and an advanced level of technical understanding of software solutions which you can confidently present to partners
  • A track record of fostering a culture of respect, reliability, integrity, humility, and a nonhierarchical, easytoworkwith personality, while creating a fun working environment.
  • Strong emphasis on the ability to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and creativity
  • Business fluent German and English skills, proficiency in one of the following languages is an advantage: Spanish, French or Arabic

Notes:

This job is suited to a full or a part-time position.

The willingness for frequent business trips is required.
