(M/F/d) is responsible for identifying operational requirements at ticketing facilities and for ensuring readiness of all ticketing facilities for UEFA EURO 2024. You will be the main point of contact regarding all volunteers matters, such as training schedule and deployment plan. You will also be responsible for managing ticketing operational material for UEFA EURO 2024, the UEFA Champions League final as well as other events if required.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities:

  • Identifying operational requirements at ticketing facilities and making sure all facilities are ready for tournament time.
  • Overseeing the operations of all ticketing facilities during the tournament and implementing any necessary corrective measures.
  • Being the point of contact on the ticketing side for various internal competence centres (Venue Management, Event Logistics, ICT, Technical Services, Volunteers, Maps & Plans, Accreditation, Staff Logistics, Signage)
  • Defining and finetuning ticketing volunteers' roles, numbers and shift plan for EURO 202
  • Creating ticketing volunteers' deployment plan for EURO 202
  • Defining the training schedule for ticketing volunteers before and during EURO 202
  • Managing inventory, ordering material and preparing material and equipment to be used for ticketing operations (including ticketing laptops and BOCA printers)
  • Managing inventory and configurating of beacons (hardware devices used for mobile ticketing operations) for all competitions
  • Planning and organising the facetoface training event of EURO 2024 venue teams
  • Supporting the planning of the deployment plan for EURO 2024 and leading the ticketing staff logistics' requirements (transport, accommodation, accreditation, etc.)
  • Defining the venue specific shift plan for ticketing venue teams if required
  • Conducting interviews for the recruitment of ticketing venue teams for EURO 202
  • Supporting colleagues in the production of training content for ticketing stakeholders

Education:


  • University degree in management, sports management or other relevant education

Work experience:


  • 23 years experience in event management, ideally in ticketing or another related area
  • Previous experience working or volunteering on events, ideally in the sports industry.

Set of Skills:


  • Project Management
  • English (fluent)
  • German an asset
  • Any other language an asset
  • Computerliterate: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, databases
  • Excellent communication skills oral and written
  • Attention to detail and structured working method
  • Availability to travel if required
